Regenerative agriculture on West Coast of Scotland

Rehema has just returned from a residential Honours student fieldtrip to the West Coast of Scotland. One group of students was exploring how contemporary forms of crofting can offer possibilities for regenerative agricultural practices and how learning can be facilitated in, by and for crofting.

Another group of students explored perspectives on marine landscapes, and a third group examined how ferry and other transport links influenced experiences of local residents and visitors in travelling to islands. We were well looked after by Oban Youth Hostel and we were hosted by several initiatives, including Caolas in Lochaline.
